Description:

Discover a bold, new story of a warrior in Japan who is on a mission of vengeance all her own.  

 Set 300 years after the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yōtei is a standalone experience set in 1600s rural Japan. The story follows a haunted, lone mercenary named Atsu. Thirsty for revenge, she travels through the beautiful, rugged landscapes of northern Japan, hunting those who killed her family many years earlier. 

Sixteen years after her family’s death, Atsu's quest across Ezo brings her to unexplored lands in search of a gang of six outlaws, but she finds much more than vengeance. 

Throughout her journey, Atsu will discover unlikely allies, and greater bonds than she could have imagined.

Includes Ghost of Yōtei™ Legends

Ghost of Yōtei™ Legends is an online co-op multiplayer mode2 where you’ll team up with friends to challenge monstrous, supernatural versions of the Yōtei Six. This includes the following ways to play: 

  • Survival - Team up with up to three other players to take down waves of increasingly difficult enemies on one of four maps. Fight to control territory on each map. While in control, you can choose to activate a Blessing to receive an advantage in battle, but losing control can activate a Curse that puts your team at a disadvantage.
  • Story - Team up with another player to tackle a series of 12 missions. 
  • Incursion - Upon completing each set of three Story missions, you’ll unlock a large-scale, four-player assault on a stronghold belonging to a member of the Yōtei Six. Each Incursion will culminate in a boss fight versus a giant, supernatural version of The Spider, The Oni, The Kitsune, or The Snake.
  • This mode also includes a Raid, in which players can expect to take on The Dragon and Lord Saito himself.

 Choose from four classes: Samurai, Archer, Mercenary, or Shinobi. While any of these can use a katana and ranged weapon, each one also excels in one of the various weapon and combat systems of Ghost of Yōtei. Moreover, each class can also earn their own unique armor cosmetics as gameplay feats are completed.
